About Us

Get Caretaker help was created to provide people who have been flung into a caregiving situation, have been in one for a while, or are just trying to prepare for the future. We try to provide tools that will work for everyone in any type of situation. The more specific we get, the harder it is for us to help the large majority of people. Everyone's situation is different, but if we can provide a number of tools and resources that help a lot of people, then our goal is accomplished. Thank You!

Our Why

Caring for an aging parent or loved one is one of the most meaningful roles a person can take on—but it is also one of the hardest. The late-night worries, the constant decisions, the emotional weight, the guilt, and the pressure to “do everything right” can quickly become overwhelming. For many caregivers, the journey feels like navigating a storm without a map.

I know this because I’ve seen the storm myself.

Before CaregiverHelp.com existed, I was in a place where on both sides of my family my parents had to take care of my grandparents. I saw my uncles, aunts, and parents stress and worry about how to do things, or how things would get done. I often listened to my parents so they could figure out what they needed to do. I just sat there, listening and after awhile they gained ideas on what they needed to do. This allowed me to absorb information and learn just as my parents were learning. However, I came to the conclusion that not everyone has someone who will listen to them.

That’s when the idea for CaregiverHelp.com was born.

Our Mission: To Make Caregiving Less Overwhelming

CaregiverHelp.com was created with one mission in mind:
to support caregivers with clear, compassionate, easy-to-follow tools that reduce stress and empower them to care for their loved ones with confidence.

We don’t replace doctors or medical professionals, and we don’t try to. Instead, our goal is to help you take the first step—to give you structure, clarity, and direction when everything feels chaotic.

Our resources are designed to:

  • Ease your stress with organized checklists, guides, and planning tools

  • Inspire confidence by helping you understand what to look for and how to prepare

  • Strengthen communication between siblings, family members, and care providers

  • Support emotional well-being for both you and your loved one

  • Encourage planning so future decisions feel less frightening

  • Make caregiving more manageable—one simple tool at a time

These tools aren’t medical advice. They are a starting point—an invitation to breathe, pause, and get your footing again.

We’ve Been Where You Are, and We Care Deeply

Every tool on this site was created with caregivers in mind—people who are stretched thin, worried about the future, and searching for answers. We want you to know that you’re not failing. You’re not supposed to “just know” how to do this. Caregiving is something you learn moment by moment.

And you shouldn’t have to learn it alone.

Whether you’re managing medications, navigating difficult conversations with siblings, watching for signs that your parent needs more help, or simply trying to take care of yourself in the process, we’re here for you. We create tools that are realistic, compassionate, and grounded in the real experiences families face every day.

A Community Built on Compassion

CaregiverHelp.com isn’t just a resource—it’s a community. It’s a place where caregivers can feel supported, understood, and empowered.

Our hope is that when you explore our guides, worksheets, and planning tools, you feel a sense of relief. A sense of “Okay… I can do this.” A sense of clarity where there once was chaos.

If we can make your journey even a little lighter, then this mission is worth every moment.

You Deserve Support, and Your Loved One Deserves a Supported You

Caregiving is not just about tending to someone else—it’s about caring for yourself so you can show up fully. The stronger and more informed you are, the better care you can provide.

Our tools are here to help you stay organized, reduce overwhelm, and feel more confident in the decisions you make. You’re working hard. You’re doing your best. And you deserve guidance that honors both your efforts and your emotional well-being.

Thank you for being here.
Thank you for caring so deeply.
And remember—you are not alone.
